People Trash NFL’s Dumb Top 100 List
From what I’m seeing out there, the NFL is in the process of unveiling its Top 100 Players list. I don’t know how it works. I think they’re releasing it in parts, but I can’t be bothered to look. This is, I guess, a list of the best players, voted on by players? I ignore it every year because it’s dumb and who cares? This year’s list is causing some shit over on Twitter though.
Keenan Allen took it to the next level by calling out other NFL WRs, and if he’s mad about that, wait until he sees where he’s at in Beaver’s rankings.
Davante Adams was like, this is all dumb, and he’s right.
Honestly, I OFFICIALLY dont believe the players made the list this year lol I almost threw up last night when I saw where Keenan was then Im 57 today...Im off the casa azul tonight 😂😂😂

Warren Sharp pointed out that the Top 100 list is, and has always been, quite stupid.
People are mad about the NFL top 100?
— Warren Sharp (@SharpFootball) July 27, 2020
They're just now realizing it's bad?
In their first year doing it, they had QB Josh Freeman at 86
Next year, Tim Tebow at 95
Hell, they had RB DeMarco Murray at NUMBER 4 OVERALL in 2015!!
Players & fans: stop caring about that nonsense
He always provides the info we need.
One of the biggest takeaways from the top 100 list is that it didn’t include Carson Wentz. Even Stephen A’s burner account weighed in.
The players chose Dak Prescott as the 46th best player in the NFL and Carson Wentz isn’t Top 100??? pic.twitter.com/R8rUFUzH5g

It really is surprising he didn’t make it, since we just saw footage of him walking AND carrying a bag. Amazing.
Did Wentz pack on some muscle? pic.twitter.com/R9JOo5p9pk

Todd Gurley and Jimmy G were two others who received criticism from the crowd for their place on the illustrious list.
Not sure what's worse.

Todd Gurley being #5 in 2019 or still being in the top 100 this year. pic.twitter.com/0fktwavLCt
One aspect of the list no one had a problem with was the top spot, which again went to the punter for the WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM. Big congrats to that guy, whoever he is!

Overall, this is really just another reminder that the NFL manages to mess almost everything up. Can’t wait until they botch the season and the only source of happiness in my life is suddenly RIPPED FROM MY HANDS. WHY ROGER, WHY?
